Opportunity Quilt
The Opportunity Quilt has long been a major source of income for the guild. Each year, members are encouraged to participate in creating the quilt, from piecing to quilting and finishing. The Design and Construct Committee selects a pattern and coordinates the work with guild volunteers.

Tickets for our Opportunity Quilt are sold at various venues and events throughout Southern California that allow the Guild to show/display/market the quilt.
Each member is encouraged to support our Opportunity Quilt fundraiser by purchasing tickets for themselves or others in order to support the Guild prior to the Opportunity Quilt drawing because the funds raised through ticket purchases are what pays for Guild expenses and programs.

The current year’s Opportunity Quilt is shown below.

The 2025 quilt, Through the Garden Window, is approximately 75"X 85" and was made by Dianne Puckett with her friendship group, Around the Block. The drawing will be held on June 5, 2025.
Members of the friendship group designed flowers to appliqué around the border and included Dianne Puckett, Betsy Shirkey, Tina Rainey, Linda Musillami, Diana Taucher, Barbara Aska, Sandy Grasso, Jodi Bledsoe, and JoAnn Rego. It was machine quilted by Frannie Marr.
