Workshops

Fallbrook Quilt Guild workshops are held at the Fallbrook Public Utility District (FPUD), 990 East Mission Road, Fallbrook, California, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the Saturday following the guild meeting (first Saturday of each month, doors open at 8:30am).

We strive to present exciting programs and talented teachers. Workshop fees are $40 for members and $50 for non-members.

For the best outcome when you attend a workshop please review the following:

• A week or so before, review the workshop description and supply list and gather your supplies.

• Plan to arrive 15-30 minutes ahead of the class start time to set up your machine space and help the coordinating team set up tables and chairs.

• Remember to dress in layers so that you can adjust your own comfort; the room temperature is not adjustable.

• Plan to bring your own lunch, beverage, and snacks.

• Bring your own snippets container for cutting and trimming scraps, and plan to take your lunch trash away when you leave.

• Bring notepad, and pen for taking notes.

• Think about bringing your own portable light if you have one.

• The chairs may be more comfortable if you bring a small seat cushion for height.

• The Guild provides stations equipped for ironing, and power strips at the tables for sewing machines.

• At the end of the class, extra help is appreciated in returning tables and chairs and putting away the power strips, and irons.
